The Kamberg ValleyNEWS: Check out the Kamberg County Day here The sun's shining in Kamberg, so dress up warmly and come and enjoy the activities and fun at the Country Day. Kamberg Valley is home to a group of friendly hospitable people who are gregarious, happy, experimental, social, fun, outgoing and wonderful people. The Kamberg Valley is one of the most beautiful areas providing easy access to the Draeknsberg and the Midlands. Once you have visited us, you will be sure to come back for more. Visit the Kamberg and you will experience, peace, tranquility, vast open spaces, a community which are "the salt of the earth". The valley is essentially a farming one, but as Kambergians are social "animals" we love to host visitors in our valley. Tourism has not taken away the Kamberg experience but has rather added to it. So what happens in the Kamberg? Kamberg is also host to the Annual Kamberg Trout Festival, hosted by the Kamberg Farmers and Bells Whisky, the Kamberg Outdoor Challenge and the Kamberg Country Day. Members also host events such as the annual Miss Fertilizer Bag competition and the Glengerry Mountain Bike Classic - go to activities page to find out more. The Kamberg is close to other adventure activities e.g. Karkloof Canopy Tours (longest Canopy Tour in South Africa), Over the Top Adventures (abseil off the Howick Falls 107 m), Annual Comrades Marathon, Midmar Mile, Giants Castle Classic to mention a few. Because Kamberg is so centrally situated it offers visitors the opportunity to base themselves in the Kamberg and travel to the attractions and activities in the Midlands and the Drakensberg.
